Shameless Self-Promotion #3

June 20th, 2012 4 Comments

I just posted (under “short stories”) a profile I wrote of the late Wayne Hage, Sr., that originally appeared in The Cowboy Way, the magazine of the Paragon Foundation. Unfortunately, the Paragon Foundation has decided it’s too expensive to keep publishing a magazine (especially one so elegant, intelligent, well-researched, beautifully photographed, and generally classy), but they will put out a newsletter with their articles on constitutional law and related issues. If you are unfamiliar with the Paragon Foundation, I urge you to check them out on my links to the right.

It sure is elegant! loved the pictures! thanks for the link!
You reminded me with this high quality elegant decorating magazine -I’m certain your wife would have enjoy it just by looking at the pictures as it was on Arabic! -that was cancelled after only two years despite the wonderful response from readers!
it went inside the homes of the famous and rich people who had great or odd and bad taste in furniture!
one actually spent a fortune to build this scary cave inside his home!! it also showed how to paint as a professional.loved it!
unfortunatelly nothing with good quality lasts these days!
and Tena I missed your page,so loved always to see your comments here thanks to Mr Parker.

I spent the weekend working through the issues of The Cowboy Way online.

What an astonishing achievement. Issue after issue without a typo; fascinating, beautifully-written articles; page after page of gem-quality photography. I didn’t believe it was still possible for our civilization to produce a literary effort of such beauty and exactness.

The whole magazine is a celebration of the idea of beauty through craftsmanship and is a wonderful example of its theme.

And it’s full of good dogs, beautiful horses and hot babes.

Thank you for directing me to the magazine.

wished you wrote more about the inside life of hollywood to equal
the pages you wrote about the life of ranchers even though it was enjoyable reading thier stories.
maybe one day make a book about Hollywood’s unknown in your unique and funny way adding your experience from A to Z ! maybe Mrs Parker too!
